Questions

Is it the real sky?

Yes. Stars come from the Yale Bright Star Catalogue and planet positions from JPL formulas, worked out for your place and time. Check the time zone, since an hour off turns the sky.

Which files do I get?

LightBurn (black engraved, blue scored, red cut), an SVG for xTool Creative Space or the Glowforge app, and a PNG.

Can I sell star maps?

Yes. The files are yours, and the star data is public domain.

What is sent over the internet?

Only the place name you search, which goes to OpenStreetMap. The date and time stay on your device.

Will tiny holes cut cleanly?

Holes keep at least 0.8 mm of material between them, but small holes can char. Test on scrap first.
