How to use it

  1. 1. Choose a plaque or a memorial, and what will make it: a CNC, a 3D printer or a fiber laser.
  2. 2. Pick a shape (rectangle, arch top, oval, heart) and a style, and press Remix for a new picture.
  3. 3. Type up to six lines: a name, dates and a few words.
  4. 4. Add screw holes, a keyhole or a stand slot, then download the STL or the height map.

Make it your own

Arrange by hand: pick a part in the preview, drag it, pull a corner to resize it, or change its depth. Add up to two extra pictures or words, and remove them again.

The STL is for CNC and 3D printing, and the SVG of the flat outlines opens in LightBurn, Illustrator, Inkscape, xTool Creative Space and Glowforge for any further fine-tuning, with your own power and speed.

Open Customise more for every setting, press Random or Remix for a fresh look, and Copy link to save or share the design. Every design is drawn by the tool, so what you make is original and yours to sell.

Questions

Can it make big plaques?

Yes, up to about 300 by 200 mm. On very big plaques the finest detail is a little coarser, and the tool says so.

Which files do I get?

A 3D model (STL) for slicers, CNC and fiber software such as EzCad3, a 16-bit height map (white is high), a ZIP of depth slices for engraving layer by layer, and an SVG of the outlines for a flat engrave.

Does it give laser or CNC settings?

No. Depth engraving depends a lot on the machine, so set your own layers, power and speed, and test on scrap first.

Is it free and private?

Yes. It is free, there is no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded. You may sell what you make.

Can I move or resize parts?

Yes. Arrange by hand: pick a part, drag it, pull a corner to resize it, or change its depth. Extra pictures and words you add can be removed again.
